Hi there! Im Rebecca. Crochet began as therapy for me back in 2014, almost like it was waiting to find me. I needed a challenge to occupy my mind, and what started as a simple craft quickly became so much more. With each stitch, I found a sense of peace and creativity, and soon my friends and family started asking, “Can you crochet me a this? Can you crochet me a that?” Those words sparked something in me—and just like that, Crochetmia was born.
My inspiration is deeply rooted in my beautiful island of Puerto Rico, with its vibrant culture, warm people, lively music, rich flavors, and breathtaking colors. It’s also influenced by the ever-changing magic of the four seasons here in the Hudson Valley, NY, where I now call home.
